Overview of your Labster's journey

Your instructor will inform you when to start using Labster. Depending on your school's agreement with Labster, you'll access Labster's simulations either through our platform (my.labster.com) or directly in your LMS (Canvas, Blackboard, Moodle)
Click on the simulation link to load the simulation, a payment might be required at this step.
Learn with Labster and play all the simulations assigned by your Instructor.
Monitor your grades and progress thanks to Labster Student Dashboard.

Your Journey Step by Step

You will have to create an account with Labster only if your access method is through our Platform. If Labster is integrated within your School Portal (LMS), you won't need to create an account since everything will be accessible from within the LMS.

Access Labster

Option A - Course Manager (https://my.labster.com/login)

Your Instructor has enrolled you in a course and you have received an activation email from Labster. Follow the steps from the invitation email and create your account.

Or your instructor shared with you a course link/course code.
Course Link: copy & paste the link into your URL bar and create your account from there. After filling out your email address, you will receive a confirmation email and then you can simply log in to the platform
Course code: Go to my.labster.com and hit "Sign up with a course code". After filling out your email address, you will receive a confirmation email and then you can simply log in to the platform

Option B - Labster is integrated with your School's LMS (Blackboard, Moodle, Canvas, etc.)

If Labster is integrated with your school's LMS, then you don't have an account with Course Manager. Instead, you can simply access your Course, and Assignment or teacher Syllabus from your school Portal, and launch a simulation from there (do not try to log in to my.labster.com).

2. Click on the simulation link to load it

Once you created your account or found Labster simulations in your School's Portal, you need to click on the simulation to load it.

A payment might be required during the loading screen. Confirm with your Instructor if you need to purchase a voucher code from your Campus's bookstore (or need to pay by credit card).

3. Play & replay simulation

You can play the simulation, resume it and reload the mission from the last checkpoint to replay a specific part if needed.

As long as the simulation is published, you can play it as many times as you want but your teacher might have set up a number of graded attempts.

4. Monitor your grades and progress

Keep track of your learning progress thanks to Labster's student dashboard.

To access your student dashboard

Option A - Course Manager
1. Once you are logged in, find and click on the course you want in the left-hand menu
2. Navigate to the 'Grades' section

Option B - Labster is integrated with your School's LMS (Blackboard, Moodle, Canvas, etc.)

Log into your LMS, and go to the course that you'll be using Labster in.
Your student dashboard is accessible from your Assignments page just like any Labster simulation
Click on it to load your dashboard and navigate to the 'Grades' section.
